Of course well behaved children as well as grown-ups are welcome! We would prefer that little cherubs under 10 were away home for bedtime stories by 8:00 p.m.

Likewise, well behaved dogs are welcome in the bar as long as they are kept on their leads, clearly if Fido is taking an unhealthy interest in other canines or humans, in order to keep the peace, he or she may have to spend the rest of their visit in the car or tethered in the garden!
